Josh Majchrzak has spent the last twenty years helping shape and sustain the built environment. At sixteen he began his career in construction, building a Texas farmhouse constructed in part with two adjacent railcars re-purposed into the project’s structure.
Josh studied music, journalism, and natural resources at Colorado State University while continuing his field work in residential, commercial and industrial construction markets. Positions in carpentry, masonry, electrical, pipe fitting and equipment operation led to a career in project management on large commercial projects and an expertise in concrete and steel structures.
Majchrzak founded Artifact in 2014 to facilitate a vision for the built environment that understands the value of and intentionally integrates the contributions of the artistic community.
